Nest has taken a further step in their journey to becoming a truly diverse and inclusive organisation by partnering with Evenbreak, the UK’s most accessible job board - run exclusively by disabled people for disabled people.
Established by the government to give every UK worker a good place to save for a pension, Nest is now the largest workplace pension scheme in the country, with 11.9 million members. Partnering with Evenbreak will open up all vacancies within the company to thousands of premium disabled candidates through the Evenbreak job board.
Already an award-winning pension provider, member of both the Disability Confident scheme and Women in Finance charter, this investment in talent marks the next step in Nest building towards a more inclusive future.
Reflecting on the partnership, Nest’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion lead, Chief Financial Officer Richard Lockwood, said:
“At Nest, we’re not simply committed to this partnership because it’s the right thing to do, it also makes good business sense. We’re already seeing the positive impact of increasing diversity at Nest.
“We already have some brilliant disabled people working at Nest, and I hope this partnership will encourage more people with disabilities to apply for roles at Nest. We have a Disability and Neurodiversity Working Group who help us build a more inclusive culture at Nest and support colleagues with a disability or neurodiversity. We also offer a hybrid and flexible approach to working.
“I’m pleased Nest is a Disability Confident scheme and we’re putting this commitment into action.”
Jane Hatton, founder and CEO of Evenbreak, added:
“We are delighted to be helping Nest on their journey to disability confident. They have many roles that our candidates would excel in, and we are happy to promote them as an inclusive employer”.
Disabled candidates can find out more and apply for roles with Nest through their Evenbreak profile.
