In a nutshell

Investing is simply buying things that you think will grow in value over time. All pension providers invest your savings, aiming to grow your money to give you as much as possible in your retirement.
Your pension savings benefit from compounding, which means it works to boost your pot more than if you were to save your money in a bank.
Saving into a pension gives you access to wider investment opportunities and collective purchasing power that you don’t usually get when you invest as an individual.
Even though we’re investing your money for you, you can still take control by choosing to invest in a different Nest pension fund.

Meet Dev

Dev’s love for spreadsheets, planning and organisation helped her fall into a career as an accountant. Her love of oversharing helped her fall out of it.

As an award-winning creative, ex-accountant and tech consultant turned financial influencer, she’s on a mission to help her 130,000 followers on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube to think smarter about their money choices.

She’s just as passionate about helping people feel empowered with their money as we are about pensions – which is a lot. She’s joined forces with Nest to make pensions simple, breaking things down for you in a way that’s easy to understand.

Meet Paul

Paul is a key member of the senior leadership team at Nest Invest as Chief Operating Officer, where he ensures that our members receive a world-class investment product. With a sharp focus on the integration of member insights into investment strategy, and putting in place the people, process and systems to ensure we can deliver great investment returns for all our membership. He also has a key oversight role into how we communicate with our community.

Beyond the operations, numbers and strategies, Paul’s life is just as dynamic outside the office. As a dad to three energetic kids (and two equally demanding cats), he’s often found juggling school pick-ups, after-school drop-offs, and the occasional game of ‘where did I leave my coffee?’

Despite the enjoyable chaos, he still carves out time for the gym and a quick run around his local park - proving that balance is an art he’s constantly mastering.
