NEST wins two of the 2013 inaugural Workplace Savings and Benefits awards

NEST won the following awards at the Inaugural Workplace Savings and Benefits Awards 2013.

  • Automatic Enrolment Innovation of the Year: for our delegated access functionality which is helping employers and advisers implement automatic enrolment, and for our overall innovative approach to delivering an online pension scheme based on TCS’s BaNCS Insurance platform.
  • Communications Innovation of the Year: for our ‘Tomorrow is Worth Saving For’ campaign materials which are made freely available to employers, along with all our other communications templates and tools, to help employers explain automatic enrolment to their workers in ways that resonate with them.

Helen Dean, managing director, product and operations
, says: 'I am so pleased the systems we’ve developed, a result of many years of hard work both at NEST and with our colleagues at TCS, have been recognised with this prestigious award. We should rightly feel very proud of the pension scheme we have developed, which is changing the way pensions are being delivered and helping millions to save for retirement.'

Graham Vidler, director of communications and engagement, says: 'I'm hugely proud of NEST's communications. We attach great importance to listening to our customers and understanding how best to talk pensions with them. This award is welcome recognition of the work that so many people at NEST have put into making pensions that bit more accessible.'
