How does direct credit work?

Unlike Direct Debit, making payment by direct credit means that clicking ‘Submit schedule’ on a completed contribution schedule isn’t the end of the process for submitting your contributions. If you’re using a direct credit payment source such as BACS or CHAPS, you’ll need to contact your bank or building society, or log into your online banking account to make the payment.

You can do this once you’ve submitted your schedule for payment from your NEST online account.

We’ll provide our bank details each time you submit a schedule for payment. You need to include the unique payment reference we provide with your payment so we can match the money to your NEST account and identify how much to allocate for each member you’re paying for.

You’ll be able to use direct credit option only if you’ve created your NEST account before September 2016.
