How can I transfer money into NEST?

 We’ve created a video on how you can transfer your money into NEST and the types of transfers we can accept.

To transfer your money into NEST you’ll need to log into your account and click ‘Transfer money into NEST’ from your NEST home page.

Click ‘Request transfer’.

You’ll see your personal details that we have on our system. If any of your details need to be updated, click ‘Edit personal details’. You can edit your email and National Insurance number which will be updated immediately. If your name or date of birth is incorrect, we’ll ask you to send us some evidence before we can proceed with your transfer request. If the details are correct click ‘Next’.

You’ll be asked to enter the details of the other pension provider you’re transferring the money from. Once you’ve finished entering the details click ‘Next’.

If you’re happy with the information that you see on the screen, click within the box By clicking the Confirm button, I am making the statements listed above. I am also confirming that I fully understand and agree to abide by those statements. Then click ‘Confirm’.

A confirmation message will appear on the screen, click ‘Done’.

NEST uses a system called Origo Options to process transfers quickly and efficiently. We’ll check if your current pension provider also uses this system. If your pension provider doesn’t use Origo Options we’ll send you a transfer form to complete.

If you wish to check the status of your transfer-in request you can login to your NEST online account and click ‘Transfer money into NEST’ from your NEST home page.

Then click ‘Check status’.

If you wish to cancel the transfer-in request you can click on ‘Cancel this request’. It will be cancelled immediately.
