What’s my Nest ID?

Your Nest ID is a unique reference number starting with MEM, that’s given to you when you join Nest.

It’s a good idea to keep your Nest ID safe as this will help you keep track of your pot until you decide to retire.

Where can I find my Nest ID?

We’ll send you a member welcome pack by post within five working days after you’ve been enrolled. This pack will contain your Nest ID.

You can also log in to your account and view your Nest ID. You’ll need to click on ‘My account’ on your dashboard.

When is your Nest ID required?

When you log in for the first time you’ll need your Nest ID. If you don’t have your Nest ID, you can also log in with your National Insurance number or Alternative unique identifier. An Alternative unique identifier is a reference number provided by your employer while enrolling you into Nest. If you don’t know your Alternative unique identifier please contact your employer. What should I do if I don’t know my Nest ID?

You’ll need to call our contact centre on 0300 020 0090. We’ll verify your personal details and provide your Nest ID.
