How do I unlock my account?

Your online NEST account is automatically locked when you enter incorrect login details more than three times. This is for the security of your account.

When your account gets locked, we’ll send an unlock account code to your registered email address within one hour.

To unlock your online account using the code, click ‘Login’ on the top right corner of this page or on the NEST website home page.

On the login screen, click ‘Unlock account’.

You’ll need to enter your username and your unlock account code into the fields shown.

Once you’ve entered the information click ‘Next’. If you’ve entered any information incorrectly an error will show telling you what needs to be corrected. You’ll then be asked to enter the answers to two of your secret questions. To know more about secret questions please see What are the secret questions?

Once you’ve filled in the fields click ‘Next’. You’ll be taken back to the login page to log into your online account. A message will appear at the top of the page to let you know your account has now been unlocked.

If you haven’t received the email with the unlock account code or you’ve forgotten the answers to your secret questions, please call us on 0300 0200 090. We’ll be able to check your personal details and unlock your account.
