How do I reset the PIN through my online account?

If you’ve forgotten your PIN, you can reset it through your online account. You need to know the answers to your secret questions to do this.

To reset your PIN click ‘Manage security details’ from your NEST home page. Then click ‘Reset PIN’.

When resetting your PIN you’ll need to enter your new PIN in the Create new PIN, and Re-enter new PIN boxes. You can click the help icon to get help for creating a PIN.

You’ll then need to answer the secret questions. Once you’ve answered the secret questions click ‘Done’.

You’ll then see an onscreen message to let you know if you’ve successfully reset your PIN. Click ‘Close’ to go back to your NEST home page.
