How do I change a worker’s address?

You’ll be able to make changes to a worker’s address within six weeks of their enrolment.

In the first six weeks of a worker being enrolled, we don’t invest any contributions in case the worker wishes to opt out and we need to refund payments to you. This is the reason you can make certain changes within this period and not afterwards. To change a worker’s address please see How do I edit a worker’s personal details? We’ll send a confirmation to the worker once the address is changed.

If your worker has logged into their NEST account or more than six weeks have passed since you enrolled them, you won’t be able to edit their address. Workers will need to contact NEST on 0300 020 0090 to get their address changed or corrected.

It’s important to note that we’ll send a Member welcome pack to the member in the post using the address you first provided when you enrolled them. If the member had already moved by this point, the Member welcome pack may have been sent to an incorrect address. In these cases, the member can call us for their NEST ID and then log into their online NEST account to read their Member welcome pack. We’d recommend you contact the worker in these circumstances to let them know what’s happened and that they should call us.
