How do I add an individual delegate once I’ve set up with NEST?

You’ll only be able to add an individual delegate if you’re a full access delegate. If you’d like to invite a delegate organisation to manage your NEST account for you please see How do I add a NEST Connector or a delegate organisation?

You’ll need to consider what access level you’d like to give to an individual delegate. You can add as many delegates as you want and give them different access levels according to their roles. For information on the different types of delegate roles and access levels see What is a delegate?

To add an individual delegate click ‘Manage delegates’ on your NEST home page.

You’ll then need to click ‘Add a new delegate’.

You’ll be asked for the type of delegate you wish to add. Click ‘Add individual’.

At this point you’ll need to provide details for the person you’re nominating as a delegate. You’d also need to select their Delegate role and access permissions you’d like them to have.

Once you’ve provided all of the information about the individual and clicked ‘Done’ an e-mail will be sent to them within 24 hours. They’ll need to follow the link in the e-mail to accept the delegate request within 28 days.
