Do I need to do anything if an automatically enrolled member or Opt in member becomes a WWQE?

No. You don’t need to provide statutory communications or change the enrolment type for the member, but you may want to let them know that they’re no longer entitled for the minimum contributions. You can put zero pensionable earnings and contributions on the contribution schedule with the correct reason that the member has insufficient earnings.

You don’t need to provide information to a worker about their rights in a specific worker category every time they change. If a worker’s earnings continue to go up and down, you only need to tell them once.
