Who do I need to inform once I’ve signed up with NEST?

You must tell The Pensions Regulator (TPR) about the workplace pension scheme you’ve chosen to meet your employer duties. This is called a ‘declaration of compliance’. The deadline for completing this declaration is five months after your employer staging date or duty start date. You’ll need to have enrolled all eligible jobholders by this point. Even if you haven’t had to enrol anyone, but had staff on your staging date, you still need to complete the declaration to let TPR know. You can do this by registering on TPR’s website.

You don't need to register Nest with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). Nest is an occupational pension scheme that is already registered with HMRC.
