Manage payment sources

Is there anything I need to know before editing the bank details in my payment source?

You’ll need to make sure that you have no contribution schedules being processed for payment for the payment source you wish to change. Any schedule you’ve submitted for payment will need to move to the Paid schedules section before you make the change. If you change your bank details during the payment processing this can cause any payments to be delayed in our system or refunded.

If you’re changing your payment method to Direct Debit for contributions you need to allow time for the new Direct Debit mandate to become active. This can take up to 11 working days if you’re not authorised to set up the payment source. This means any due contribution schedules may become overdue whilst you’re waiting for the Direct Debit mandate to become active. If a contribution schedule shows as overdue you may receive a late payment notification.
