Order and rules
NEST's order and rules
NEST's order is a piece of legislation that sets out the legal structure for NEST Corporation and the scheme.
NEST's rules set out how the scheme is designed and operates.
If any changes have to be made, the order can only be amended by Parliament.
The rules don't need to be amended by Parliament.
NEST's order and rules have been agreed by the Secretary of State and took effect on 5 July 2010.
