Using NEST with existing payroll systems

Whichever pension scheme they use, we expect that most employers will need to make some changes to their payroll systems to meet the new employer duties.

We are working closely with payroll software providers to ensure that their software is able to provide us with the data that we need. However, we advise employers to ask their provider for further information on their existing software and how far it will support them in complying with the duties.

Additional guidance on this is likely to come from The Pensions Regulator.
